In addition to learning resources, there are several places where you can find useful tools and content to use for Maya:
- Open the
Content Browser and drag in sample scenes for many types of content, from 3D models to particle and liquid effects.
- Go to the
Autodesk Character Generator website to have fun generating your own fully-rigged, custom 3D characters, which you can then import into
Maya.

Bonus tools can often solve specific problems that you might not be able to perform with the regular Maya tools. Many of these tools make their way into the Maya application if they are found to be very useful to many people. Many of the bonus tools are described in the My Oh Maya! blog on the AREA.
- The Autodesk App Store for Maya (Maya App Exchange) is a great resource where you can purchase and download various plug-ins, tools, and scripts submitted by the Maya developer community. You can also choose to open this site.
- Download FBX Review. This is a free, lightweight tool you can use for reviewing and sharing your 3D assets. You can also select to open this page.
