You can use the fluid's internal lights to preview the lighting effects applied to your fluid simulation before you render the effect. Fluid internal lights include directional, point, diagonal, and ambient lights that display in the scene view when you playback your simulation. You can use either the internal lights or the scene lights (Real Lights) to render the fluid. See Light the scene.
