- If necessary, create an empty simulation by choosing one of the options in the
Create group of the
Bifrost Fluids menu while nothing is selected.
If you are loading a foam cache, choose
to add it to the empty liquid simulation. - In the Attribute Editor, click tab for the Bifrost object's main properties node.
- In the Caching attribute group, turn on Enable.
- Click the folder icon next to Cache name.
- Navigate to the directory where the cache files are stored.
- Select any cache file and click open.
In the Caching attribute group of the Bifrost object's main properties node, the following things happen:
- Cache Directory now points to the user cache parent directory.
- Cache Name now points to main container cache directory which contains the user cache files.
- Caching Control is set to 1 (read mode).
- Load the object's associated solids user cache by turning on Enable in Solid Cache attribute group, then repeat steps 4 to 6.
