Sign in to Autodesk Identity to use the Cut Slider | a. The artist isn't currently signed into Autodesk Identity, or b. the Flow desktop service is missing or disabled on the user's machine, or c. the user is not properly assigned to a project in Flow Production Tracking. To resolve this issue: a. Sign into Autodesk Identity on the artist's machine. b. Close Maya, then install the Flow desktop service on the artist's machine (you may need an administrator to do this for you) and enable it. c. Ensure the artist has appropriate permissions to the project in Flow Production Tracking. |

Project missing from the Media Browser | If you are unable to find your project in the Flow Media Browser, open Flow Production Tracking and make sure that Animate in context is enabled for that project and that the current user has permission to access the project. Unable to download shots | If shots won't download after retrying: 1. Make sure that your network connection is stable. 2. Check that the Flow Capture Connect app hasn't crashed or been closed accidentally. If it has, close Maya before restarting the app, then open Maya again. |

Local Python packages and dependencies | Local python packages and dependencies can create conflicts with the ones required by the Flow plug-in resulting in an error. To prevent this, move the python site packages to a path not found in the PYTHONPATH environment variable. This will ensure that Maya uses the dependencies shipped with the plug-in. | Maya | |
Flow desktop service fails to run | If the Flow desktop service won't run, it may be that your System Config file is corrupt. Be sure to follow the proper naming conventions outlined in the System Config and User Config. Read the logs for troubleshooting issues. | Flow desktop service | |
Cut Slider doesn't show a version from Flow Production Tracking | At least one version must exist in the Flow Production Tracking cut and timecodes must match in Flow Production Tracking and Maya before media can be loaded into the Cut Slider. Check Flow Production Tracking and make sure that a version exists in the cut. A version must also be linked to a task to be visible in Maya. Tip: Playback the cut in Flow Production Tracking and if the version is missing, then it won’t appear in Maya's Cut Slider. |
