To turn off highlighting of new features in the interface

1. Do either of the following:
   • Select Help > What's New > Highlight New Features.
   • In the Preferences window, expand the User Interface heading and turn off Highlight what's new in this release.

To change the highlight color

1. Open the Preferences window. (Select Help > What's New > What's New Highlight Preferences, or select Windows > Preferences.)
2. In the User Interface section of the Preferences window, click the Highlight Color swatch to open the Color Chooser and select a different highlight color.
