In the Open dialog, navigate to Where you stored your tutorial files, then select All Models from the Files of type drop-down list.

Select the Automatic clean up option to check the CAD model for defects and try to repair problems automatically.
Select the Check suitability option. The geometry of the part is investigated and the most appropriate analysis technology is automatically recommended.
There are two different technologies you can use to represent and analyze your model.
Click Next.
The Import Wizard-Processing first shows the status of the selected Automatic clean up and Check suitability tests. When these tests finish, the Advice pane shows information about the model.
The Analysis type pane shows the analysis technology recommended based on the model suitability check.
In this example there were no errors in the CAD model.
Accept the default Standard-Dual Domain analysis type selection and click Finish.
The model is displayed in the Model pane.
Click
Save Study from the Quick Access toolbar.
It is possible to change the analysis type once it has been set, but you cannot change from Dual Domain to 3D if there are unresolved defects remain in the model.
If you require 3D analysis technology and there are defects in your model, repair the model in the original CAD package. Or use an alternative surface repair tool. You can then re-import the repaired model into your project.
