Runner System Wizard

Create the sprue, runner and gate configuration for the multi-cavity model you have been working with.

1. Click (Geometry tab > Feed System panel > Runner Wizard).

   The Runner system wizard pane appears.

2. Click Browse in the Sprue section, and confirm the following specifications:

   Element	Value
   Sprue type	Cold
   Sprue shape	Circular
   Diameter (1)	8

3. Click Close.

   The Runner system wizard pane reappears.

4. Click Browse in the Runners section, and confirm the following specifications:

   Element	Value
   Runner type	Cold
   Runner shape	Trapezoidal
   Width (1)	4
   Thickness (2)	4
   Angle	15

   Click Close.

5. Click Browse in the Gates section, and confirm the following specifications:

   Element	Value
   Gate type	Cold
   Gate shape	Circular tapered
   Start diameter(1)	6
   End diameter (2)	4
   Orientation	Horizontal by length
   Horizontal length	10

   Click Close.

6. Select Block from the Layout drop-down list.

7. Click OK.

   The feed system has been created.
