Setting the coolant properties

You can set the coolant properties when you create a coolant inlet, or you can change it later.

1. Click (Geometry tab > Cooling System panel > Coolant Inlets).

2. Click Browse to select a Coolant .

3. Enter the Flow rate.

4. Enter the Temperature.

5. To select a different coolant, click Browse.

6. To select a Specific material, select the Manufacturer and the Trade name of the coolant from the drop down lists. Alternatively, you can use one of the Commonly used materials.

7. Click OK to close the Select Coolant dialog.

8. Click Close to close the Coolant inlet properties pane.

   Note: You can not add an inlet to a hose that is already a coolant inlet, or if the cooling channel is inside the mold boundary.

9. Click Close to close the Set coolant inlet dialog.
