To apply a scale factor to the mesh edge length

When you generate a mesh with auto sizing option, you can apply a scale factor to the edge length.

1. In the Layer pane, make the CAD layers active.

2. Click (Mesh tab > Mesh panel > Generate Mesh)

3. Click CAD tab.

4. Enter a value between 0.1 and 5 in the Scale factor text box of Use auto sizing area.

   Note: For example, when the factor is 2, all edge lengths are multiplied by 2, except the edge lengths specified by Define Mesh Density dialog.

5. Click Mesh, to launch the Simulation Compute Manager.

6. In the Simulation Compute Manager, select the solve location, then click Launch.
