Data Checking
Access the Input data checking dialog by clicking the Check Inputs home screen button.
The Input Data Check popup dialog checks whether all the data input boxes in the Input Data section are complete and contain appropriate information. If they are not complete or correct, the Data Checking dialog displays an error or a warning and provides information about where to find the incomplete or incorrect data.
The Result Check popup dialog checks the equivalent for the result or output data.
All submitted data is checked against the following four sets of values.
- Minimum recommended (Warning limit).
- Maximum recommended (Warning limit).
- Minimum physical (Error limit).
- Maximum physical (Error limit).
Viscosity Raw Data Checking
The Viscosity data should contain:
- temperature data sets [three different temperatures]
- shear rates data sets [three different shear rates].
PVT Raw Data Checking
The PVT data should contain specific volume data for at least:
two pressure data sets,
three sets of temperature data [above and below the transition temperature].
The temperature range for amorphous and crystalline materials should be as follows (b5 relation is checked by the Model Check feature ):
Amorphous
Minimum mold temperature < mold temperature (recommended) < maximum mold temperature < ejection temperature < ttrans < = b5 < minimum melt temperature < melt temperature (recommended) < maximum melt temperature < absolute maximum temperature.
Crystalline
Minimum mold temperature < mold temperature (recommended) < maximum mold temperature < ejection temperature < ttrans < b5 < minimum melt temperature < melt temperature (recommended) < maximum melt temperature < absolute maximum temperature.
