Geometry Offset properties

Use the Geometry Offset properties of the Transformation pivots to define offsets between the geometry of the selected model and its hierarchical center.

You can offset an object from its pivots without affecting its children. The following figure shows a tea pot and the tea cups parented to the tea pot. The tea pot geometry is offset from its hierarchical center.

Translation

The X, Y, and Z values define the translation offset of the selected object from its hierarchical center.

Rotation

The X, Y, and Z values define the rotation offset of the selected object from its hierarchical center.

Scaling

The X, Y, and Z values define the scaling offset of the selected object from its hierarchical center.
