Status bar area

The Status Bar area is located at the bottom of the Viewer window and consists of the following:

Progress bar

The Progress bar located at the bottom left provides visual feedback on the progress of a currently processing operation.

For example, the progress bar shows the percentage of a scene still left to load, or the amount of animation still to be processed as the plotting is completed.

Global/Local/Layer fields

The Global/Local/Layer fields let you view the XYZ coordinates of the currently selected position of an object. You can also use them to enter precise XYZ coordinates to transform selected objects.

You can change the values in the Global/Local/Layer fields in two ways:

• Click and drag left or right in the field to decrease or increase the value. To drag through numbers more slowly, right-click and drag in the field.
• Double-click in the X, Y, or Z fields, type the new value, and click Enter.

The currently selected Transformation and Reference modes are displayed beside the Global/Local/Layer fields.
