Work With the Sheet Browser Window
Toggle the Sheet Browser Window
Click View tab > Workspace panel > Windows drop-down.
Select or clear the Sheet Browser check box.
Pointing device: Status bar > Sheet Browser
View Sheets/Models as a List or Thumbnails
- In the top-right corner of the Sheet Browser window, toggle between a list and thumbnail view:

Examine Sheet/Model Properties
Open a multi-sheet file.
Click the 2D sheet or 3D model in the Sheet Browser.
The Properties palette shows the available information.
Note: If more than one sheet/model is selected, the Properties palette only shows the number of selected sheets/models, and doesn't show any property information.
Open a Sheet or Model in the Scene View
Open the Sheet Browser window.
Double-click the sheet or model that you want to open.
Tip: You can also use the multi-sheet navigation controls on the Status bar to quickly open sheets/models.
Rename a Sheet/Model
Open the Sheet Browser window.
Right-click the desired sheet or model, and click Rename.
Type a new name for your sheet or model, and press ENTER.
Command entry: F2
Delete a Sheet/Model
Open the Sheet Browser window.
Right-click the sheet or model you want to remove, and click Delete.
Tip: If you make a mistake, you can use the Undo command.
Prepare Sheets/Models for Use
- Open the Sheet Browser window.
- Right-click a sheet or model you want to prepare.
- Click Prepare Sheet/Model to prepare the selected sheet or model, or Prepare All Sheets/Models to prepare all of the sheets and models in the window.
Print a Sheet or Model
Open the Sheet Browser window.
Double-click the sheet or model you want to print to make it current and open it in the Scene View.
Click Output tab > Print panel > Print
.
Check the printer settings are as required, and click OK.
Note: The maximum image size is 2048 x 2048 pixels. The Properties button controls printer-specific ink and paper settings.
