You can print a hard copy of the current viewpoint to any printer or plotter. You can also print 2D sheets from Quantification and include the markup. Ensure you have a 2D sheet open and click File > Print.
Print Preview
Before you print out a copy of the model or sheet you are working on, you may wish to see how it will appear.
To preview a model/sheet before printing:
- Click Output tab > Print panel > Print Preview

- Use the Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons to review the preview image.
- Click Print.
- In the Print dialog box, click OK.
Print Setup
This option enables you to the set up paper size and orientation options.
To change the print setup:
- Click Output tab > Print panel > Print Settings
.
- In the Print Setup dialog box, make changes as required to the paper and orientation.
- Click the Properties button if you want to change printer-specific settings.
- Return to the Print dialog box, and click OK.
Print Current Viewpoint
When the print option is selected, Navisworks prints the current viewpoint scaled to fit and centered on the page. You can also print 2D takeoffs. In Quantification, open a 2D sheet containing markups and click File > Print.
To print the current viewpoint:
Click Output tab > Print panel > Print
.
Check the printer settings are as required, and click OK.
Note: The maximum image size is 2048x2048 pixels.The Properties button controls printer-specific ink and paper settings.
