File Readers

Navisworks provides file readers to support a variety of CAD file formats and laser scan file formats.

When you open a CAD file in Navisworks, an appropriate file reader is automatically used. If necessary, you can adjust the default file reader settings to improve the conversion quality.

You can specify settings for many of the file readers in the File Readers node of the Options Editor dialog box. See the File Readers Node help topic for more information.
