Two products are offered for simulation customers with differing needs:
- Netfabb Ultimate -
Simulation Utility LT supports running local simulations of part-level powder bed processes, with the following limitations:
- Simulation type: Part-level powder bed simulations only, no moving-source simulations
- PRM files: Generic process parameter (PRM) files are included with software. Users cannot generate custom PRM files.
- Mesh size: Maximum of 5 million nodes and 200 million layer-nodes (grouped layers X number of nodes)
- Mesh controls: Maximum of 20 layers grouped and a maximum of 2 mesh coarsening generations.
- Netfabb Local Simulation - Simulation Utility supports part-level simulations without limitations. Additionally, the user can generate custom PRM files, perform Directed Energy Deposition (DED) simulations, and run Local Simulation on the command line or on a Linux platform.
