The view graphs

The view graphs display relevant quantities throughout the optimization process. Depending on whether Lattice Optimization or Topology Optimization is selected as mode of operation, different quantities are shown in the view graphs.

View Graphs for Lattice Optimization

The viewgraphs display for each iteration:

1. an estimate of the volume (mm³) for Skin and Lattice
2. the skin stress ratio
3. the lattice stress ratio
4. the safety factor for linear buckling
5. the maximum displacement of the skin (mm)
6. the maximum displacement of the lattice (mm)
7. the average and maximum thickness of the skin (mm)
8. the average and maximum thickness of the lattice (mm)

The view graphs for lattice optimization

View Graphs for Topology Optimization

The viewgraphs display for each iteration:

1. an estimate of the volume (mm³) at solidity thresholds of 0.25 (blue), 0.5 (red) and 0.75 (green).
2. the value of the Optimization Objective (its respective units)
3. the average (red dot), minimal (blue line) and maximal of solidity (green line) (unitless)
4. the total number of constraints and the number of fulfilled constraints
5. the maximum displacement (mm)
