To align all parts against an example part

Select a part and have all other parts oriented similarly

Packing shapes in a similar fashion can save space and improve heat dissipation. As an analogy, books fit better into a shelf, and more of them at that, when they are all oriented upright.

1. Select a part that you want to use as a guide.
2. From the main menu, choose Arrange > Align Platform to Part.

Now you can follow up with other packing methods, for example, and achieve a better packing fraction.
