Lateral supports

Generates form-fitting profile blocks of adjustable size

Note: This action produces only one profile block at a time. To create multiple, even just for opposing ones, a new instance of this action is required.

Description	Holds a text label for the action that remains visible even when the action parameters are collapsed in the script tab
Color	Sets a display color for the support elements generated by this action	Cannot be reverted once changed, only explicitly set to a new color
Height	Block size in Z
Width	Block size in X or Y, whichever is in right angle to the axis given by Direction
Length	Maximum depth of the block along the axis given by Direction before intersection with model volume
Overlap	How deep the block is moved into the bounding box	Must be less than Length
Gap	Clearance between model mesh and generated mating surface of the lateral support block, measured by Hausdorff distance
Tolerance	Target edge length of triangles used in generating the mating surface
Direction	Axis and direction along which the block meets the model	X, -X, Y, -Y, equivalent to Z rotation of 90°, 270°, 0°, and 180°, respectively Rotation by Z
Rotation by Z	Rotates the block generation by arbitrary angle values around the Z axis	-180° to +360° 0° is equivalent to -Y, positive values rotate in counter-clockwise direction Only available when Direction is set to Rotation by Z.
