Netfabb fixes

This is a selection of noteworthy bugs and issues fixed with the 2026.0 release.

Installer

NC-16384 – Fixed an issue that caused generation of installers for automated deployment to omit licensing information, requiring manual user input after all

Machine workspaces

NC-16138 – Stripe hatching in powderbed toolpathing no longer contains a left-over parameter, Unidirectional hatching, that does nothing.
NC-16341 – Fixed Sisma myrev machine showing English text when Netfabb was set to Brazilian Portuguese
NFL-199 – Fixed an issue in the powderbed workspace configuration editor that discarded user input for EBPA parameters if the Save button was clicked right away without explicitly unfocusing the input box
NFL-205 – Renaming of a machine workspace in the project tree is now preserved during saving and loading the FABBPROJECT file.
NFL-272 – Using a Renishaw EBPA configuration with multilaser mode enabled no longer leads to an error message, "EBPA Error 32 (ReferenceError: l_iter is not defined)". Important: This applies only to default configurations included in a Netfabb installation. Affected custom configurations cannot be fixed retroactively. They must be recreated from built-in configurations and manually reconfigured using manual export and reimport of parameter value JSON files.
NFL-313 – Fixed an issue that dropped configuration value changes to a build strategy of an EBPA when the strategy was freshly created and was then left for a different strategy tab directly after typing without accepting or registering the entered value in any way, like unfocusing the text field
NFL-336 – Fixed an issue that prevented resizing of the columns in the configuration editor for Simple-type configurations of powder-bed machine workspaces
NFL-437 – Fixed an issue where value changes to the default "Solid part" strategy of an EBPA-based build configuration were discarded
NFL-441 – Fixed an issue where value changes to the default "Solid part" strategy of an EBPA-based build configuration were discarded by switching between strategy tabs

Supports

NC-16170 – Fixed an issue in generation of baseplates for bar groups where a Pattern wall thickness of 0 would generate no pattern at all
NC-16178 – Fixed an issue in Bars on edges that could generate unprintable bar supports, curving up first, then down. Bars on edges now always generate straight and vertical.
NC-16251 – Cluster detection by face group name no longer breaks when the name contains a space character.
NFL-219 – Fixed an issue with Polyline on cluster and Volume on cluster that ignored intermediate anchors, causing support intersection with part geometry in some cases
NFL-274 – Fixed an issue in the support editor that would forcefully turn part transparency off upon running a script
NFL-315 – Fixed an issue that caused Volumes on areas to generate unwanted geometry in concave edges even when a distance to part surface was specified
NFL-343 – Volume support set to observe distance to other support no longer ignores supports generated by Polyline on cluster contour unless those are set to generate as closed-volume, solid walls. Now they are also kept a distance from when they are generated as open supports.
NFL-396 – Fixed a source of Access Violation errors from manually placing support geometry too rapidly
NFL-427 – Fixed a source of Access Violation errors and crashes in undoing deletion of support elements

Repair

NFL-247 – Fixed an issue that caused yes/no parameters in repair script actions to be inaccessible

UI, UX, and workflows

NFL-148 – Renaming using keyboard shortcuts (F2 by default) after selecting a part in the 3D view should now be more robust and not accidentally attempt to rename the platform instead.
NFL-159 – Fixed an issue that caused parts to become not fully interactively selected after using Select buttons for parts inside or outside the build platform for machine workspaces that provided those buttons
NFL-164 – Fixed an issue that made various numerical fields not accept typing a minus sign even when they should.
NFL-442 – Bounding box shadows no longer show up for parts set to invisible.

Simulation interoperability

NFL-309 – Fixed an issue that prevented Simulation Utility LT from being launched out of Netfabb while launching it from the executable was still working
