Subcases

This is the next sub-level in the tree under Mesh Model. Depending on the analysis type there are different sub-levels in the Subcases branch.

When you right-click on Subcases, the following options are available from the context menu:

  • New: Creates a new subcase.
  • Paste: Allows you to paste copied items (such as a load or constraint from the Model branch of the tree or a different subcase).

Subcases by default consist of Loads, Constraints, and Results sub-level entities. You can define the loads and constraints directly (using ribbon commands) or from the model tree.

    After running an analysis, the Results are loaded under each Subcase in the Model tree.
