A tool palette is a tab on AutoCAD's Tool Palettes window. Each tool palette contains one or more tool icons that represent behavior defined in a Tool Palette client application. A Tool Palette client must define at least one tool palette. Typically, an application that exposes a wide variety of tools uses multiple tool palettes to organize its tools visually, thus helping users to quickly find desired tools.
