    Organizing Tools

The ATC file format defines logical structures that allow you to organize tools in meaningful ways. Tools are grouped on one or more tool palettes. Palettes are grouped in catalogs, which, in turn, provide additional organizational options. These structures allow applications to group tools by logical criteria such as name, specialization, size, or appearance.
