    Tool Packages

A tool package is a collection of tools similar to a tool palette. Unlike tool palettes, however, packages are not displayed in the Tool Palettes window. A package contains a broader range of tools than a tool palette. A package may reside in its own XML file, or be embedded in category or catalog items. It contains a list of the tools it contains. One specific application for a package is to contain tools that can be accessed from a tool flyout.
