Approve or Decline content on PIX for Browser

Approve or Decline an item

Depending on your permissions within the project, you may be able to click the checkmark and an X in the lower right corner of the Viewer next to the Star (Add to Favorites) icon.

Click the checkmark to quickly mark a file as ✓ Approved or the X to mark it as X Declined. Click again to remove the approval or decline.

Items you have approved will show a green check with a (1), and items you have declined will show a red X (1).


Review what others have approved or declined

The number you see in the parenthesis (#) next to the or X indicates how many other users have approved or declined that item. Once you approve or decline the item, the number will increase, and the or X will turn green/red.

Hover over the or X to see a list of users who have approved or declined the item.

Your approvals/declines will not necessarily be visible to other users, and vice versa. PIX must set up other users on the project to be able to see approvals and declines made by other users. If this is something you are interested in setting up, please contact PIX Support.


Filtering for your approved/declined items in the Bin

Click the Approved filter at the top right of the bin to show only your approved items and vice versa with declined.

Click the filter again to expose all of the files.

If you cannot see your bin, hover over the center of the viewing window until you see the upward-facing arrow. Click the arrow to Show Bin.


Review what others have Approved or Declined while browsing

While in the Files section, the number of Approvals and Declines on an item will be visible under the and X columns.


Set up Notifications for Approvals and Declines

With Gatekeeper approval, you can have PIX set up email notifications that will alert you when items have been approved or declined within your project.
