Supplier Proposal Workflow
For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.
Creation
During the creation the supplier can edit the proposal as often as needed, e.g., create the proposal first and then add images later. Once the proposal is submitted, the impacted package’s requestor will be notified by mail and find this proposal in his My Outstanding Work list. Additionally, if the property Delivery On Hold is set to Yes, the impacted package will be set to status On Hold automatically.
Analysis
In this state, the package requestor will be notified and asked to analyze the given proposal. If additional information is required from the supplier, the workflow action Return and request information can be used along with comments. Before closing the request, the package requestor also can request a Technical Review (which requires selection of the Technician first) or initiate given follow-up processes.
The supplier can always Return the proposal if needed while no further action has been taken.
Information Requested
In case the supplier has to add additional information to the proposal the user can put it into this state.
Technical Review
If the proposal needs a technical review so that a decision for the next step can be made, a technician is mandatory to be selected in the given section in the item details. If no technician is selected, the user will receive an error message while trying to execute the workflow action.
During the technical review the technician can either give feedback to the previous user to help with the decision or initiate a change request if needed.
Corrective Actions
In this state the corrective actions take place that have been assigned to this proposal.
Change Request in Progress
When the technician decides that change is needed to take care of the supplier proposal, a change request will be created. This request will contain all the information that has been provided in the supplier proposal. As soon as the change request has been completed the technician has to set the supplier proposal to completed.
Completed
When the proposal has been completed in any given way, the supplier will be notified by mail about it.
