To add a dummy leg or base support

  1. On the ribbon, click Home tab Pipe Supports panel Create.
  2. In the Add Pipe Support dialog box, click Dummy Legs and General Supports Dummy Leg.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Press and hold SHIFT. In the drawing area, right-click, click Node.
    Note: You can press CTRL to toggle placement options such as BOP and COP. After attaching the pipe support, you can use the flip grip to toggle placement options. These placement options are available on pipe supports that have a part subtype of DummyLeg or BaseSupport.
  5. Click to specify an elbow connection point.
  6. Press ENTER to finish adding dummy legs.
