Set up the Preconstruction Bundle
To access Autodesk Estimate, your company must have the Preconstruction Bundle subscription. This subscription includes licenses to Autodesk Takeoff, Autodesk Estimate, Autodesk Docs, BuildingConnected Pro, BidBoard Pro, TradeTapp, and ProEst. For more information about subscribing to the Preconstruction Bundle, contact your account representative.
In accounts with the Preconstruction Bundle, an account administrator must assign users to a Preconstruction license.
To assign a user to a Preconstruction license:
Account administrators can navigate to Account Administration in Autodesk Construction Cloud or manage.autodesk.com to assign licenses to account members.
Click Members in the left navigation menu of Account Administration to open the Account members page.
Click a member to open the product access panel.
Under Member subscription, assign users to the Preconstruction license using the drop-down selector.
Note: You can also assign any combination of individual product licenses that are part of the Preconstruction Bundle to users, but only the Preconstruction license will enable Autodesk Estimate.
Once the Preconstruction license is assigned to yourself or specific users, the new Estimate tool will appear alongside Takeoff in the Preconstruction left navigation menu for those users.

If you’re invited to a project created by an account that is not subscribed to the Preconstruction Bundle, you will not be able to use Estimate with that project, even if you have a Preconstruction license for another account.
