To create a Comment item

Use Comment items to display explanatory information during an inspection.

To create a Comment item:

1. Click Measure tab > Items panel > Comment.

   

2. Overwrite Comment title here to specify a name for the item. This name is shown next to the Comment item in the inspection sequence.
3. In the entry area of the window, enter the text and images you want to display. Alternatively, click Paste to paste text and images from the clipboard.
4. To display the Comment toolbar and format the text, click .

   To change the size of an image, right-click and select Edit Image from the context menu.

5. To edit the HTML source, select the HTML button.
6. By default, users can continue measuring while the comment is displayed. To force the user to acknowledge the comment before continuing the inspection, select ; deselect the button to cancel the need for an acknowledgment.

   You can specify the default behaviour of the Comments dialog using the Comments page of the Options dialog.

7. Click to close the dialog and add the item to the inspection sequence.
