To label all points in a specified area of a point-cloud, click View tab > Labels panel > Point-Cloud > Label All Selected.
To label the points, right-click the CAD view and choose a menu option to specify the area-selection method. Select:
- Single Point to label points individually. To label a point, left-click it.
- Rectangle to label all points in a rectangle. To specify the rectangle, left-click and hold, then drag the cursor. When the rectangle is the correct size, release the mouse button.
- Lasso to label all points in a free-form shape. To specify the shape, left-click and hold, then drag the cursor. When the cursor changes to
, left-click again to close the shape. - Sphere to label all points in a sphere. To specify the sphere, left-click and hold, then drag the cursor. When the sphere is the correct size, release the mouse button.
To control the information that is displayed in labels, click View tab > Labels panel > Settings.
