Controls how point-clouds are displayed in the CAD view.

The following options are displayed.
-
Shade point-clouds — Display point-clouds with shading.
Clear to display point-clouds without shading.
- Show points on scanned side only — Display only the points that are projected on the scanned side of the surface.
Clear to display all points projected onto the surface.
- Use fast shading for clouds exceeding — Use the fast-shading algorithm for point-clouds that exceeds this number of points.
Smaller point-clouds use a slower algorithm with higher-quality shading. Larger point-clouds use a faster algorithm with lower-quality shading.
- Fast shading quality — Quality of the fast shading algorithm.
Fine improves quality but reduces speed. Coarse improves speed but reduces quality.
- Max number of points displayed per point cloud — Maximum number of points displayed for each point-cloud.
If the number of points exceeds this limit, the CAD view reduces the point density, but maintains the size and shape of the cloud.
- Section boundary — Maximum distance from the section at which points can be selected when using the Section pick-mode.
- Defined plane tolerance — Control the fitting of the plane used by the Defined Plane pick-mode.
If the plane is not fitted high enough to select all the unwanted points, for example:
increase the tolerance:
