Individual Feature Group menu

Use the individual Feature Group menu to manage and edit the selected feature group.

To display the menu, in the Explorer, right-click an individual Feature Group.

Feature editor — Select to display the Feature Editor tab.

Machine — Select to display the Strategy Selector dialog.

2D feature hierarchy — Select to display the 2D Feature Hierarchy dialog.

Activate — When selected, activates this feature group and de-activates any currently active feature group. When deselected, de-activates this feature group.

Activate Workplane — Select to activate the workplane used to create this feature group.

Draw — When selected, displays the feature group. Deselect to "hide" it. This option toggles between and .

Rename — Select to rename the entity.

Select all — Use to select all of the features in the feature group (they turn yellow).

Invert selection — Select to deselect the part of the feature group that is currently selected, and select the part of feature group that is currently unselected.

Deselect all — Use to deselect all features in the feature group (they turn purple).

Add to Folder — Select to add the entity to the active folder. If the Folder option is unavailable then activate the folder.
Note: You can add an entity only to a folder within that entity type. For example, you cannot add a toolpath entity to a NC program folder.

Remove from folder — Select to remove the feature group from the current folder.

Edit — Select to edit the feature group.

  • Copy Feature Group — Select to create a new feature group containing exactly the same features. This new feature group has the same name as the original with _1 added to it.
  • Copy Feature Group (selected only) — Select to create a copy of the selected features of the feature group. This new feature group has the same name as the original with _1 added to it.
  • Acquire selection — Select to add the selected features from another feature group to this feature group.
  • Delete selected features — Select to delete the selected features from the feature group.

Unlock — Select to unlock the feature group for editing. This overrides all locks on the feature group.

Draw curves — Select to display the source curves that the features are generated from.

Draw wireframe — Select to display the wireframe representation of the features.

Delete Feature Group — select to delete the feature group.
