Exporting materials

You can export materials using the Material Selection dialog. This process automatically creates a .csv file containing the materials' data.

To export materials:

1. Select Visualisation tab > Format panel > Material. The Material Selection dialog is displayed.
2. Click Export. The Export Materials dialog is displayed.
3. To export a group of materials:
   • Select Export group.
   • From the Select material type list, select the group of materials you want to export.
4. To export a single material:
   • Select Export single.
   • From the Select material type list, select the group of materials that you want to export from.
   • From the list of corresponding materials displayed in the dialog, select the specific material you wish to export.
5. To export all materials, select Export all.
6. Enter the Export To path or click to specify the path to the new ExportMaterials folder that holds the images and .csv file for your exported materials.
7. Click Export.
8. Click OK.
