This dialog is displayed if you selected
Slide core on the
Select a Core Type page.
This page of the wizard is skipped in the following cases:
- The Identify the Die Inserts page is omitted from the wizard if the two inserts can be selected and there are no slide core features in the model.
- You have solids or components called DW_CORE and DW_CAVITY in your model. These solids are automatically selected, providing they are not blanked or on a level that is turned off. (Solids with these names are automatically produced by the Mold Die Wizard when run through Toolmaker.)
Use this page to select the die inserts for the core and cavity plates, using the following options:
- Create a new slide core:
- Select the Create a new slide core option.
- Click Select the Core to select a die insert for the core plate.
- Select the core on the solid.
- Click Select the Cavity.
- Select the cavity on the solid

You can select any two solids or components that are connected by a common face.
When you select non-single-instance components, the Multi-instance component selected dialog is displayed.
- Click Next to go to the Split Surface selection page.
- Edit an existing Slide Core:
- Select the Edit an existing Slide Core option. An additional option appears on the dialog:
- Choose Select the Slide Core. This option becomes available if you have selected Edit for an existing slide core.
- Select a solid or component that is the existing slide core. When you select a slide core for editing, the
is changed to

- Click Next to go to the Split Surface selection page.
- Select the Edit an existing Slide Core option. An additional option appears on the dialog:
