Use the HPGL page of the Options dialog to specify the conversion factors to be used when exporting to HP plotter format.
- Click File > Options > Application Options > Data Exchange > HPGL.
- Use the following options to specify the HPGL settings:
- Start position — Enter the X and Y positions to define the start position of the tool.
- End Position — Enter the X and Y positions to define the end position of the tool.
- Delay — The delay for the tool movement.
- HPGL conversion factor — Enter a value to define the conversion factor to be applied when PowerShape units are converted to HPGL units.
- Export arcs as polylines — If selected, arcs are exported as polylines. If deselected, arcs are exported as arcs.
- Select level — Select a level from the drop-down list. All the objects that you assign to a particular level are grouped together when exported.
You can also select a level and define its attributes:
- Pen Tool — Tool name.
- Acceleration — Speed of the tool.
- Up Speed — Up speed of the tool.
- Down Speed — Down speed of the tool.
- Passes — Enter the number of passes.
- Pen pressure (g) — Pressure for the tool.
