Finding out information about a model

You can find certain information about a model, without opening it.

  1. In Windows Explorer, select a psmodel.
  2. Right-click the model file and select Properties. The Properties dialog is displayed:

The different tabs display information saved with a psmodel. For example:

  • Date of creation
  • Application name
  • The name of the model and its description
  • Current user as the Author
  • Version of PowerShape.

When opening a psmodel, the following information is read from the Windows Explorer's File > Properties dialog and stored by PowerShape:

  • title
  • subject
  • author
  • keywords
  • comments
  • last saved by
  • revision number
  • manager
  • company information.

This information can be used when creating text.
