Fixed Issues in 2026

This document lists the most recent fixes made to Autodesk ReCap Pro and ReCap Photo. To review information about updates (including hotfixes) to previously released versions of Autodesk ReCap Pro, see Release Notes for Previous Versions of Autodesk ReCap Pro.

Autodesk ReCap Pro 2026.1 (October 2025 release)
Fixed an issue for the ReCap Mesh Plugin in which the mesh is not displaying in the legend and drafting views in Revit.
Fixed an issue in which the Save dialog was not shown when the user updated the origin using the Update Origin Tool and exited/switched projects.
Fixed an issue in which Undo/Redo did not work for updating orientation (rotation) the second time and onwards using the Update Origin Tool.
Fixed an issue in which unstructured projects exported as E57 carried the wrong coordinates.
Fixed an issue in which importing certain XYZ files were stuck at 50%.
Improved stability issues on closing the ReCap Mesh Editor.
Fixed an issue in which memory would continue to climb when using the Update Origin Tool on RTX GPU systems.
Fixed an issue in which click to tag images link in the control point tooltip in the GCP Editor Map View was not working.
Fixed an issue in ReCap Mesh Editor when saving a file directly after performing a triangle selection, which was causing data duplication.

Autodesk ReCap Pro 2026.0.1 (June 2025 release)
Fixed an issue in which ReCap would freeze on startup after updating to the latest Nvidia drivers.
Fixed an issue in the Mesh Editor related to certain Nvidia drivers.
Fixed an issue in which large point clouds were not running through Scan to Mesh Local.
Fixed texture issues with the view cube when only intensity mesh textures were available.
Fixed an issue with textures when unloading mesh tiles.
Improved performance when loading or viewing the mesh.
Improved stability for unsupported 3D mouse drivers.
Fixed localization issues.

Autodesk ReCap Pro 2026 (April 2025 release)
Fixed an issue in which ZFS scans were imported with incorrect location and orientation.
Fixed an issue in which clipping individual scans resulted in the entire point cloud being clipped after saving and reopening the project.
Fixed an issue in which Sign out and Quit did not quit ReCap.
Fixed an issue in which a nested scan group structure was lost when undoing deletion of scans or scan groups in the Project Navigator.
Improved stability for extended or mirrored display setups when working with ReCap Pro.
