Viewing a ReCap Project in a Browser

After projects have been published successfully, you can view the project through your browser using BIM 360, Autodesk Drive, or Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and Autodesk Drive.

Viewing a ReCap Project in Autodesk Drive

  1. Go to drive.autodesk.com/.
  2. Navigate to the the published data.
  3. Click on the < projname >.rcp file.
  4. The project loads in the ReCap Viewer.
Note:* Autodesk Drive only supports RealView viewer. In order to view 3D Point Cloud on the web, please publish your project to BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud instead.

Viewing ReCap Project in BIM 360

  1. Go to docs.b360.autodesk.com/
  2. Navigate to the project where it is published to.
  3. Navigate to the folder where it is published to
  4. Click on the < projname >.rcp file.
  5. The project loads in the ReCap Viewer.
Note: If you have published your project using an earlier ReCap (versions before 23.0), you can use Publish > Update to reupload necessary files for Point Cloud Viewing. Alternatively, you can manually reupload .RCS and .RCC files inside the Support folder.

Viewing ReCap Project in Autodesk Construction Cloud

  1. Go to acc.autodesk.com
  2. Navigate to the project location.
  3. Click on the Files tab on the left panel.
  4. Expand the Project Files.
  5. Navigate to the the project data.
  6. Click on the < projname >.rcp file.
  7. The project loads in the ReCap Viewer.
Note: If you have published your project using earlier ReCap version (versions before 23.0), you can use Publish > Update to reupload necessary files for Point Cloud Viewing. Alternatively, you can manually reupload .RCC and *.RCS files inside Support folder.
