Accessing ReCap Photo

Autodesk ReCap Photo is a desktop application that leverages cloud computing to generate 3D models from photographs. This application is downloaded to your system and uses your Autodesk ID to connect to licensing, processing and storage.

Purchasing

ReCap Photo’s photo to 3D reconstruction feature is an entitlement feature of ReCap Pro and is unlocked with a subscription to ReCap Pro. Purchase can be done on monthly, annual, or three year subscription plans. When purchasing subscription you will need to create or sign in with your Autodesk ID to connect your ID to the purchase. As a cloud enabled application, ReCap Photo uses tokens to process photographs into 3D models. Tokens can be purchased as needed. A link to purchase tokens can be found in the ReCap Photo interface.

Downloading

ReCap Pro can be downloaded from the product page as a trial or you can log in using your Autodesk ID.

Installing

To install ReCap Pro you must have an Autodesk ID. Once the executable is downloaded, you can launch the executable and will have the option to install ReCap Photo.

Activation

After launching ReCap Photo you will need to log in using your Autodesk ID. This connection will give you full access tools included in the application. It will also connect you to cloud storage and processing.
