Register Scans

For Pro users who have unregistered data, ReCap provides tools to let you merge scans into one cohesive point cloud. This process essentially stitches your scans together into a full representation of your intended project. ReCap offers two types of registration, as described in the topics in this section.

All files must be imported before Auto Registration begins. Manual Registration is available as soon as the first scan has been imported. Note that manual registration cannot be started with unstructured data. For best results a structured scan must be used as the basis for registration.
