Scan to Mesh (Local)

Convert your point cloud into a segmented mesh using the local scan to mesh processing from ReCap, to create classified mesh models for use in your BIM workflows and in other Autodesk design products.

Important: ReCap Scan to Mesh requires computationally heavy processing that produces large files. For optimal performance, we recommend:

• The ReCap project is stored on an internal storage drive, not an external storage drive.
• The computer ideally meets the recommended requirements. These can be found at this link.
• 5 times the size of the point cloud in temporary free space on the C:\ drive.
• Do not save active projects to network connected drives, including OneDrive, as this can cause data corruptions.
