Mesh Editor Rendering and Shading Styles

ReCap Mesh models can contain both RGB and Intensity Texture if the option to generate them was checked during the mesh creation process. You can render any classification layer colors over the mesh to clearly see which layer a mesh surface belongs to.

Use the Viewing Panel options to adjust the rendering mode.

  • Texture: Changes the texture mode between:
    • None  . Displays no texture on the mesh model.
    • RGB  . Displays the real color RGB texture on the mesh model. This is only available if the point cloud contains RGB data.
    • Intensity  . Displays a grey scale intensity texture on the mesh model. This is only available if the point cloud contains intensity data.
  • Classification Color  . Changes the display of the classification colors on the mesh model.
    • None. Classification layer colors are not displayed on the mesh model
    • Classification Color. Overlays the classification colors onto the mesh model.
