This tab is available if you change the number of bars on the Bars tab. It is used to select reinforcement templates for horizontal and vertical internal stirrups. Templates are filtered based on a number of main bars. Selecting a template fills the Table of defined stirrups with data. Generated stirrups are displayed in the viewer in the right pane of the dialog.
Clicking Add or Modify (after selecting a stirrup in the table) you can define new or modify exisiting reinforcement elements. It opens the Stirrup definition dialog to define the following parameters:
- Stirrup type
- Initial bar (the first bar tied by a stirrup)
- Number of tied bars (on the same level)
- Hooks (for both ends of a stirrup)
- Change bar orientation - when selected, hooks are directed in the opposite direction
- Distance a (if the double U stirrup type is selected).
