Once the global structure parameters required for Snow/Wind Load generation (envelope, spacing, depth) are defined, snow/wind parameters for French code must be set.
The following French snow/wind load codes are available:
- NV 65 / N84 mod. 96
- NV 65 + Carte 96
- NV 65 mod. 99 / N84 mod. 98
- NV 65 + N84 02/09
- NV 65 mod. 99 + Carte 96
- NV 65 mod. 99 + Carte 96 04/00
- NV 65 02/09
- NV 65 Morocco.
The data is identical for all the enumerated codes, the only difference is how the load is generated.
The Snow/Wind Loads dialog has 4 tabs:
Note: If the Isolated Roofs option is selected in the Snow/Wind Loads dialog, a fifth tab, Isolated Roofs, displays.
In addition to the standard buttons OK, Cancel, and Help at the bottom of the dialog, there are the following 2 buttons:
- Generate - Starts generating the snow and wind loads based on the parameter values specified in the Snow/wind Loads dialog. This automatically creates load cases for a structure according to the requirements of the selected snow/wind load code.
- Generate 3D - Opens the Snow/wind loads - 3D geometry dialog.
