Select the Sa(T) tab in the Response spectrum calculation dialog to define the Sa=Sa(T) function.
Click Open from a file to read the function from a text file. The file is saved in the following format.
- T1 Sa1
- T2 Sa2
In order to define a new function, click New. Add, Delete and Modify edit a selected line in the table containing columns Period T and Sa. Click Clear to delete all spectra.
The selection list indicates the given or calculated spectrum type. The table will display appropriate data regarding the spectrum selected.
Click Save to a file to save the selected spectrum to a file in the selected format.
- Robot (*.spt)
- SAP2000 (*.sap)
- Text file with any extension or a metafile-type file (*.emf).
The last format saves the diagram curve for preparation of print-out. You can insert the file into an MS Word document.
