The American timber code ANSI/AWC NDS 2012 allows you to verify and design wood members.
This code supports rectangular, bi-rectangular, and rounded cross-sections.
It also includes the calculation of internal forces such as N, Vy, Vz, Mx, My, or Mz.
Two methods are available when designing timber members:
- The Allowable Strength Design (ASD) method.
- The Load and Resistance Factor Design (LFRD) method.
