Parameters of a structure seismic analysis depend on a seismic code used during calculations of a structure influenced by seismic impact. Select French requirements (Arreté du 10 mai 1993 fixant les regles parasismiques applicables aux installations soumises a la législation sur les installations classées(JO du 17 juillet 1993)) in the New Case Definition dialog or click Parameters in the Analysis Type dialog.
To complete the seismic analysis according to the rules given in a code, define the following parameters:
- Zone:
- 0 - acceleration value = 1.5 m/s2
- 1 - acceleration value = 2.0 m/s2
- Other - the acceleration value is defined by the user
- Parameters:
- Behavior factor
- Type of Interpolation:
- Linear
- Logarithmic
- According to PS 92:
(compare section 5.234 of PS 92)
- Spectrum type (design, elastic) - the option works as for PS 92
- Direction - the option works as for PS 92.
In the lower part of the dialog, the Direction definition and Filters, and Residual mode buttons are located.
