    Shear Strength

Per ANSI/AISC 360-10 I3.1b, shear strength of the section is determined based on the properties of the steel section alone according to Chapter G of ANSI/AISC 360-10. Limit states of shear yielding and shear buckling are investigated assuming unstiffened webs of steel members.
