Using Reinforcement of columns, you can generate reinforcement for rectangular and round cross-sections of an RC column in an Autodesk® Revit® / Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis model.
You can read column information from Autodesk® Revit®:
- column geometry
- parameters (diameter and material ) of reinforcing bars.
Using this Extension, you can define reinforcement parameters from the File menu:
- Save / Save As - saves parameters in an external file; this file may be used in future during generation of reinforcement for a column of the same geometry.
- Open - opens a file with saved reinforcement parameters.
- Close - closes the Reinforcement of columns extension.
- Modify - allows you to edit all data defined for a column.
- Delete - deletes the reinforcement generated using the extension and restores parameter default values.
