How to Define Panels

1. Select either a plate or shell structure type.

2. Create a contour using one of the options: Polyline, Line, Arc, Circle, or Bar.

3. Select the command Geometry > Panels or press the icon.

4. Define panel parameters in the dialog:

   • Panel number
   • Panel type
   • Panel material and thickness
   • Inner point coordinates.
   NoteOptionally, you can click on the Inner Point field and select the inner point of the panel on the graphic screen.
5. Press the Apply button.

When you begin structure calculations, a planar FE mesh will be created on the defined panel (generation of the structure calculation model).
